Maximize Your Giving with Corporate Matches

Did you know many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees? Corporate matching gifts are a powerful way to double—or even triple—the impact of your gift to the Union Combined Parish. If your employer participates in a corporate matching program, they may match any donation you make to Union, amplifying your support for our programs and community initatives.

  • Many companies have simple tools for employees to check eligibility for corporate matching. Start by reaching out to your HR department, or visit your company's employee portal and search for "corporate matching" or "matching gifts."

  • Once you confirm that your employer participates in a corporate matching program, there are usually a few quick steps to enroll:

    1. Request a matching gift form from your HR department or find the online form in your company's employee portal.

    2. Complete the form with "Union United Methodist Church" (not "Union Combined Parish") as the charitable organization to benefit from the match. Please be sure to list Union's full name and address (485 Columbus Ave., Boston, MA 02118) for easy processing.

    3. Submit the form electronically or as instructed by your HR department.

  • Your employer may require Union's tax ID number to confirm eligibility for a corporate match. Please email the Church Office if you need it.
