We're a multisite United Methodist congregation committed to love and liberation.
For over 200 years, Union has been committed to Christian love, social justice, and radical hospitality. In 2023, four United Methodist congregations—Union Church, Old West Church, Community United Methodist Church, and Glendale United Methodist Church—merged to form the Union Combined Parish. Together, we are a family of believers from all walks of life: Black, Brown, white, Latinx, Asian, and indigenous; young and seasoned; economically stable and struggling; transgender and cisgender; with and without disabilities; straight, gay, lesbian, queer, and allies; lifelong Christians, new beginners, skeptics, and seekers. Our denomination
The Union Combined Parish is a church of the New England Conference of The United Methodist Church, a worldwide denomination making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. In 2000, Union Church became the first historically Black congregation to join the Reconciling Ministries Network, dedicated to the full participation of LGBTQ+ people in the life and leadership of our congregation and denomination.
